AFT MEMBER BENEFITS

UVM Staff United is part of AFT (American Federation of Teachers). In addition to the resources we win in our contracts, we have access to programs and discounts through AFT National.

Step 1: Look up your member number

To access AFT member benefits, you will need your AFT member number. Go to the Member Lookup site and enter the following information

  • Local Union Number: 05754

  • Last Name: your last name

Click “Lookup” and the system will prompt you to send your information to the email address they have on file. You will receive an email with your member number and a link to the member benefits page.

Step 2: Create a member login

Now that you have your member number, you can create an account. Go to this site and follow the prompts to create your account

Step 3: Create a UnionPlus login

Some AFT member benefits are provided through UnionPlus, the benefits arm of the AFL-CIO. To access these benefits, you will also need to create a UnionPlus account at their website.
